Yep, and I heard she'd been spending millions from their joint account.

Man, if ever the line about "cheaper to keep her" applied, it's in this situation. Seems a bit out of the question now though. A billion here, a billion there, pretty soon we're talking real money!

Maybe what we're reading is blown out of proportion. You would think a guy with that much clout would have drafted up some sort of legal agreement.

If by legal agreement you mean prenuptial agreement, my understanding is that British law frequently doesn't consider them when it comes to dividing assets. Paul may have just said screw it for that reason. Well, she's already screwed everyone else, so why not him?

Hope McCartney will sort things out. Damn! This looks a bit - eh - ridiculous. Like a 2nd rate movie.

Lets face it, when it comes to the legal proceedings, Paul has a leg up on the situation.

McCartney comes across as one of lifes major co-dependants, who naturally, was very vulnerable after his wife's death.

With a simply idealistic view of life and extreme wealth he was right for the picking, and Mills, who was known to be a pathological liar, must have felt like it was Christmas every day when he decided to marry her...

It's a wonder the kids still talk to him...

She reminds me in a odd sort of way of Christine Keeler, who was of course part of the Profumo affair back in the 60's. Not her looks mind you. Keeler was much nicer looking.

Clearly though IMO, Mills had an agenda.

And last week it was reported that someone had bugged Macca's phone as he was complaining to his daughter about Heather, and low and behold, the recording wound up in her hands!

Sounds like a Made-For-Television drama!

Your pun wasn't lost Kent, so I'll give you a courtesy "LOL" since nobody else did ;-)

It's all just sad, for all parties involved, but it's especially damaging when children are involved. It's not like Beatrice won't be able to look back (should the fancy strike her) and see who said what to and about whom.

I wish this would just stay out of the media so they could sort it out a little less irrationally. Besides, there are way more important things going on in the world that the mainstream media should focus on. Sorry for the digression, but jeez!
