Rumbush, your comments about censorship have been expressed before. Their are several people who don't come around anymore because of Peter editing, deleting, and nuking posts and threads.
Their are some who won't come around anymore because Peter doesn't edit, delete, or nuke posts and threads. I'm not sure how Peter can make everyone happy. I'm also not sure he has to. This is his page and he can do with it what he wishes.
I'm all for stirring the pot. It makes for healthy conversation and debate. If I offend someone then I apologize, it certainly wouldn't be my intent.
I think that the spirit of things on this board is a positive one for the most part. If someone doesn't want to participate in theses discussions and they do not wish to return, that is their choice. But I would prefer they just left quietly without the drama. That's just me though.
If my comments offend anyone, please email me at [email protected]. I would be more than happy to discuss this with anyone. I think we are all brothers and sisters here. And like brothers and sisters, we may not always always like each other, but I honestly believe we all love each other.

Back to fish bellies...I, too had googled the same photo, but resisted posting it because it would put so many off their food...
“I say in speeches that a plausible mission of artists is to make people appreciate being alive at least a little bit. I am then asked if I know of any artists who pulled that off. I reply, 'The Beatles did.”

In case anybody missed it, from October 2006 Guitar World magazine....
"It's called 'confluence'," says Rickenbacker president John Hall. "These grassroots gatherings of Rickenbacker aficionados have taken place in Virginia, Milwaukee; Columbus, Ohio and Birmingham, England, among other places. Officially, the company hasn't planned this in any way. These people just get together and bring their Rickenbacker instruments for a little show-and-tell meet and greet. They play music and swap stories. I think they're doing some horse trading as well." Rick-O-Mania is a justifiable obsession.
All of you who have driven the obsession should be proud to be recognized when it counts. It seems that others are proud of your work too!
I've been a pretty obsessive guy about alot of things in my life (beer brewing, the bass, golf, going to school, golf, my work, and now the bass again). By far, this is the best group I've been able to try to associate myself with, out of all of my obsessions.
