Well...........I saw a 365 on Ebay, which I wasn't interested in.........but in the corner of the picture I saw what I thought was a 360F. I emailed the seller, but he didn't speak English. After much emailing, I discovered he had 3 F series for sale. Now.........it was a fair bit of money to just send down a wire, so I decided I would collect them. Now the easiest way was to fly out Friday (which landed Saturday) collect the guitars and fly back Sunday. With the time difference, I would be there 10 hours! A mission indeed. Now all was going to plan, until the Virgin flight I was on suffered a 10 hour delay Image With much re-arranging, I had to stay 2 more days. That's when the trouble began. What could I do in Tokyo for 2 days? Go shopping Image

I toured all the guitar stores I could find, and they were spectacular! Every store held vintage RICs I couldn't have hoped to find. My poor credit cards were maxed out wherever I went. After 2 days I was skint.....but very, very happy.

To bring it back onto the original thread.......acoustics do exist........I know because I bought one!

That's the short version. But me a drink and I'll go on for hours Image

John K, thanks...I'm now off the hook for buying Graham's first drink.

Graham, make sure you order a large one. I'll pick up your SECOND drink.

John W....once we've got him drunk, I'll split Graham's Japanese haul with you! You can have the 'F's....I'll take the 4000 bass and the acoustic. The rest we can flog on eBay to raise more beer money. Image

I've played no better sounding acoustic than a Ric acoustic.

Amazing story, Graham. I love the Fs most of all.

And Bill...

Wow, Bill!

That 12-stringer is very nice. So is the 6, but really think the 12 is beautiful.

So you like them even better than Martin or Taylors?
