I'm often on the tarmac at LAX and I can't tell you how many times I've seen bags of every size and description (including surfboards) fall from the cargo hold. They ain't paying those handlers big bucks. Get a flight case or carry it on!

Yep, mine arrived yesterday..I went with a Calzone, very similar to the A&S case that Andy has. I seriously thought about the MT double case that Tom Heslin makes, it's a real beauty---but I just didn't need that much. Here's a link to another thread about ATA cases if you guys want to read more, and thanks to all who contributed to that thread....

No carry on luggage of any type allowed to, from or on internal flights in the UK for the forseeable future (not even a small bottle of drinking water)!
