I received this beautiful guitar yesterday from a fellow forum member.
I had been looking for one of these to make a set with my 62 RI Stratocaster that I am particularly fond of and lo and behold I found it right here on the forum. I just had to buy it.
Thanks John,
She is a beauty.

Glad it found a good home Brian. It was wonderful dealing with you, glad i've found another friend on the forum.
The guitar was a gift, and I hate to sell a gift, but I just couldn't get on with it. I've got another Tele that I like much more, and god knows I don't need two of 'em! It needed to be played and it looks like it will be.
HI John yes I agree the forum tends to create friendships even before the "horse trading" starts. You have certainly put the cash to good use IMO.
BTW you did a great job packing the Tele for shipment. I fixed the small noise issue that you had discovered prior to shipping in less than ten minutes. I am glad that I talked you out of taking it into a repair facility to fix it. It was just a cold solder joint on the ground wire.
I have also adjusted the neck, changed the strings and lowered the action to suit my playing style. It is a blues/rock players dream.
RC they are wonderful guitars aren't they? I have wanted one of these for a number of years. They are tough to find where I live. Tele's are one of the few guitars that look right in both right and left hand models IMO. They are so versatile as well.

Brian, when I planned on keeping her I was going to put a Bigsby on her as my next move. Some people hate 'em but adds even more versatility to a Tele and looks great to boot. IMO, of course.
I never use the so called "tremelo" arms on any of my Strats. Not even the one Strat that came to me with a Fender System I bridge and locking nut on it and that guitar you can do extreme dives on and it manages to stay in tune.
A Bigsby unit tends to make a guitar very heavy. Now while that is preferable to having neck dive, I like my instruments to be perfectly balanced. That's why I like Rickenbackers BTW.
Bigsby's do look cool though, that I will grant you. So what's the point here? I am glad I bought her off you before you bolted one on.

Wow, Brian I see your point. Those basses are nice. That's what I need next a nice Fender bass to go with my RI's. I would really like both a Precision and a Jazz bass. Dreams!!!
Tony,
Surely you can sell that Tele to a collector? No?
