Some of these bands I've never even heard of. I love discovering new (ok old) bands.....

Magenta is another prog band with a female singer...in fact, according to their web site, they have collaborated with Annie Haslam on an EP.

I saw Renaissance in 1977, Annie was gorgeous and sang well but looked distracted the entire time.

I'll second the Magenta reference, they're pretty good prog with lots of Yes, Genesis, and Floyd riffs in their music. I heard about them from the Spock's Beard forum and there's a big thread over there if you want to read more about other's opinions. And their singers name is Christina and she's very good.

Jerney Kaagman with Earth and Fire, Angela Allen with Carmen, and Kim Moore with Esperanto are worth mentioning. And since this a Rickenbacker forum, listen to the uncompromising 4001 tone throughout Esperanto's "Last Tango" (1975).

Unfortunately, I've never heard anything from these bands. Sergio, I'm assuming that I'm missing out on some great music.
JETGLO should officially be renamed JETGLO ROCKS! :-)

I don't know for sure whether their recordings have been re-issued on CD. Earth & Fire are early '70s (you can pass on their late '70s phase though, which produced the hugely successful but fairly obvious "Weekend"), and both Carmen and Esperanto are mid '70s. Go for "Last Tango". It is inspired, majestic, and the uncompromising, in-your-face 4001 tone is all over it.
A Rickenbacker bass is much like the Jaguar E car - perennially ultra-fashionable.
