Gary, I think you should have everyone email you their count. You shouldn't have to do all the unnecessary searching and browsing.

Back to Gary, will there be some well-lit area I might be able to set up my portable studio for photos?

Every inch of the room is pretty well spoken for Paul, and there's really no appropriate public area of the hotel for this use either.

Two suggestions: use your room if you are using lights or flash, or step out the back door onto the lawn if you want sunlight.

I think I'll have several as well - 8 or 9?

Hmm, no room, eh? I guess I could use my room, but that would mean schlepping a lot of fragile instruments. I'll play it by ear, John, thanks.

Paul, maybe you can keep one case or gig bag ready to move the basses to and from the photo set up.

By the way, I called SKB today. They have no documentation of whether a 4005 will fit in the Bass Safe. It's not the length or depth of the bass, but the width we could not make a fair determination about, since the inside of the case tapers as it goes towards the head area...so I wouldn't chance it.

If I bring one, it would be my 730L-12 FG. I'd like to see how it looks next to Paul W's. On the other hand, since Paul would already have one there, there isn't much need for mine there.

Sorry to pointlessly revive this thread but I am pumped. I just shipped out my '67 900 MG and '00 330/12JD TUR. I can't wait to rock out.
