Dave: So very nicely done. Thanks ever so much.

That is a nice start Dave. Welcome to the forum from me also. Please fix the typo though.

It is so interesting to see the different styles posted here. Please keep the ideas coming.

Good stuff, Dave, and welcome.
As long as we still have 6 weeks left in this contest, let me toss out some other things to think about:
Dave's logos, while quite professional and graphically very good, lack one thing. They are perhaps too generic, lacking some sort of visual tie-in to Rickenbacker products or to the Rickenbacker Resource Forum.
Something as simple as a a common "RRF" logo bug in one corner, for example, would be a way to accomplish this, but in my classes, I generally call this "easy way out", as it's been done and overdone ad nauseam.
So, let's try (if we're doing topic logos like Charlie's above) to think of them as a group rather than as standalones.
Let's keep 'em coming!

Here is some recent doodling from my desktop.

I agree Paul. Here’s what I made originally to make them look more Rickenbackery before I found out we couldn’t use shapes only photographs. So I just made rectangles for the other ones. Like you said we still got 6 weeks, I’m sure someone here will nail it on the head by then.
But I had fun anyway!!
By the way Peter I love that picture, It defiantly looks classic!

Nice stuff, Dave, but alas, they don't fit within the parameters.
With six weeks still to go, I'm sure that you've got some more inspired stuff rattling around in that creative head of yours!
