New Beatles book expected very soon!

Post by davclr »

www.recordingthebeatles.com

This website will speak for itself about this ambitious work that has been long awaited.
I have my pre-paid order in and eagerly waiting!

And as you can see, this more or less expands down to the granular level where the wonderfully put together 1988 EMI published tome which was authored by the "Beatle brain of Britian" Mark Lewisohn ("The Beatles Recording Sessions")began.

A true Beatles must have reference book for the recording techie!

I have "The Beatles Recording Sessions". Great Book. No controversies... Ha! Ha!

Hard to believe that another book can eclipse it in terms of more recording details. Can't wait to read it.

Should be an interesting book. I received an email from one of the two authors yesterday, regarding shipment, and the first 1,000 go out on the 15th of next month. The remaining orders will go out a week later.

I'm still waiting for that book the guy that got banned from here was writing. You remember him, right? He was depending on us "imbeciles" to do his research for him.

Damn that guy was funny.
Listen to that sustain!

Can't wait to read it, either.

Sounds a bit pricey though.

I also got a brief look at the MOMM Saturday night of the Confluence. I was amazed. I discussed it briefly with Nick Thiel and plan to add it to my growing Beatles book collection.
