Homemade lightshow?

Post by 8mileshigh »

I was surfing around and came across this picture of what looks like a converted 330? Looks pretty cool?

Then I found this one, which just made me shudder.............

The 1st photo is of a real 331.

The bottom one is, well, not.

Hey that bottom photo looks like a scene from Close Encounters doesn't it?

"The 1st photo is of a real 331. "

That fat headstock doesn't look right to me for a real one...

The power cord hanging off the side? No way! I vote converted!

Yeah, I think you could possibly be incorrect on that as well Kenny? As John said, the headstock's all wrong. Raised lettering on the TRC, new style hi gains. Plus the monster power cord? Still looks pretty cool.

That's not too bad of a job if indeed its a real convert. I'd buy it.

Nice sheep imitation. Was that really ewe, or just a touch of hoof and mouth disease? LOL

Oh ****! I didn't notice the headstock before.

Also, the top is not swirly. Therefore, I take it back. (It's still a better job than the second one shown.)

Richard was trying to do the Close Encounters of the Third Kind theme. I had to ask too.

I think Graham's description sums it up! Theme does not apply the gold!

Hahaha. I was really trying to do the Close Encounter notes were they are talking with the aliens.Notes and sound don't come out the same when written.

"A flash in the night"?
Looks kinda mystical. Might be a cool onstage look with lights turned off...

Re the first pic: In another world, one could gather we were looking at a 331 made circa 1984-86....pretty scary, actually.
