Forgot to ask, does it come in the SKB type case or vintage silver case?

Sounds like the start of a new guessing game!

LED's in the fretboard? Active electronics? Some kind of a badge or medallion?

Dear John Hall,

Serious question, how can I make sure that as a Rickenbacker player and fan for over 30 years I can get a limited edition 75th bass in the UK?

My local RIC dealership, I'm afraid, has a rather poor track record in getting me RIC products in the past.

Kind regards, Bob

Dear John Hall,

As the 75 bash gets very close I still have no idea as to how to secure, here in the UK, any 75 bass that might be issued.

Do you think you could let me know, just to put my mind at rest.

Very best wishes, Bob

PS: just noticed that the Forum calender is out and that my '72 is the August page!

Sorry to bump this one.

Must say, I'm keen myself. What do we have to do to get one?
enough, already.

Any of these going to the U.K. will be through Rosetti- those would be the folks to contact. Their MD, Mark Ellis, is well aware of these models, since we discussed them on the phone last week.

Ok, I'm with Bob here; may be easier said than done - first job is to find a dealer who has the oomph to get product. Who do UK forumites think is hte best UK dealer?
enough, already.

I wonder if Rosetti could recommend a dealer in the UK who would be able to order a 75th Anniversary instrument? Not neccessarily playing dealer favourites, but just suggesting which dealers are in in their "good books".

Well, I've got nowhere with dealers here in the UK, and Rosetti - who to give them their due came back to me very quickly - say they have no info at present; they have asked RIC for it but as yet have received nothing; they do not even know if they will be able to get any.
enough, already.

Yes, that's the same message I got from Rosetti (also very promptly). With the number produced being so small, I wonder if we'll even see any in the UK...

FWIW - RIC was VERY busy with the 75th celebration and I'm not suprised couldn't get back to anyone during that time. Patience.
