Knob question

Post by ricnbacker »

the bass tone knob is supposed to be above the bass volume control right?they should be the first 2 knobs and the trebble controls are to be further down towards the bridge right?
i know it aounds silly but someone was arguing with me that his were the other way and his was right..

selctor switch up towards PU`s is bass (neck) PU

down Trebble (bridge) PU right?

You may well be crazy but yes, the volume knobs are on the bottom (4001/3) and the tones are on top. Switch up activates the neck pickup only and down activates the treble pickup only.
