Ginger, you are one of the few people who has known all along how wonderful the 4002 is. The sad truth is that "2" was greatly under-appreciated (ignored) during it's production run. It was ahead of it's time in some respects. Advanced electronics and exotic woods were not to be commonplace for another 10 years or so. Only now is the model starting to get the attention it deserves. Unfortunately so few were made.

David, I will add a link from my website to yours as soon as I can. I can't right because the server is getting Microsoft patch updates, which have been quite a pain with the server lately!

Ginger,

Excellent choice for a birthday present to ones self. Most assuredly the No. 1 "under the radar" model from the folks @ Rickenbacker. Enjoy!

Another gig, more photos taken, another opportunity for more Rickenbackers in action.

Certainly do Ted, Pyramids on a C64S.
I prefer them for their tone, longevity, and the low action because of their higher tension than TI's. Well that and they ARE shiny!

Scott: Did you just stick it into the ground head first like a plant stake?
