That's a rare one, just for being so mint. I like how the grain shows through. And you get a curly-cord in the bargain.

Makes you wonder how many other 4001 basses are out there under beds or in the back of closets unplayed for the last 25 years...

Looks like my '75 4001FL, very nice. I'm sure there are many very nice vintage instruments under beds and at the backs of closets that have been left unplayed for several years. I keep hoping to find them cheap at garage sales. I've heard of that happening sometimes, but I've yet to be that lucky.
JETGLO should officially be renamed JETGLO ROCKS! :-)

That's where my '72 was from 1977 to 2002, under the guest bed. I took a chance and joined up with my company house band for the single "gig" that they do every year, and then I got the bug again.

That's the exact same serial number as my '75 Burg 4001FL, though i'm sure the letter portion is different (i hope!)... funny.
