Post by ricnbacker »

my wife comes home and i know rickenbacker is your bass of choice but what do you like better fender or gibson guitars. i say gibson and she says oh! i bought you 2 fender shirts. didnt you have a P bass once.

i was like yea but, i never liked it like i like the ric.

in any event she starts looking on the internet for a Ric shirt and cannot find them.

whats up with that?

What a thoughtful wife. You'd better wear those Fender shirts!

Brian, yes my wife is a wonderful woman and very thoughtful.
but
wearing a fender shirt is like owning a smith and wesson and wearing a taurus shirt

lol

do you know anything about getting a rickenbacker tee shirt or coffee mug or anything like that?

Getting back to the clothing, any idea why Ric is not selling the shirts any more? Is that a recent discontinuation, or have they often not had them in stock over the years? I'd love to get one of the official Ric TRC shirts someday. Since I have been involved in buying things from Ric (just this year), they have never had the shirts in stock.

Seems like the 75th would be a great time to make some of this stuff available.

Greg, why don't you check our boutique again, say about Wednesday of this week?

Anyway, our business is making instruments, not clothing. It's absolutely the lowest priority of all the things we do.

I hope no one brings up the "great walking advertising" point - remember the existing instrument backlog.....

John - have you checked out Christian D's website recently - he just brought out a great looking bass in his classic design colors.... :D ;)

Since Lexus seems to be dealing with Hofner Basses and Vox Amps (that is if you buy a McCartney Signature Edition RX 400h)...

...RIC is certainly able to add clothing to its boutique (Though I personally am pleased that it has its proper priority).
