John, not sleeping tonight. Leaving for JFK at 2am, flight's at 5:30. Hopefully I can get a bit of shuteye on the plane!

Yeah, I work till midnight, get up at 4:45 and fly at 7:20AM. Too darn excited to accomplish much!

I have to wonder if that is Paul W's handy-work, or at least the process on the pickguard. It may be laser engraved.

Seeing the bass and playing it was a treat Friday morning! The TRC matches the pickguard, being back painted plexi with laser engraved name and 75th logo. Very nice!!! The color is a very deep, almost Burgandy-like color, sort of like red wine. You will love it.

It was fairly thin, but not as much as I thought it would be. Much thinner than the 4004Cii I had.
