Thursday Morning Report

Post by rick_ovic »

Last night the first small group of RickResource Forum members got together for dinner at a local Mexican restaurant.

Jeff & Shari Scott arrived from Ohio earlier in the day and I came in from Hollywood during the afternoon. Gary Clauson and Joey & Dianne Vasco also joined us.

Later in the evening we returned to the Doubletree Club, where we were joined by Graham Griffiths who had just arrived from the UK.

All of us commented about how surreal it felt to be meeting each other, after having corresponded over the Forum for so long. A good time was had by all, and if the rest of the weekend is anything like last night we are all in for a real treat.

The accommodation at the Doubletree Club is excellent value for money and the bed is very comfy. End of report. Image

Thanks for this first report. We will all be watching this space.

I really wish I was with you guys. It is a long way from the UK. Have a great weekend.

I'm already regretting not moving heaven and earth to make it. As Jared would say.... Damn......

Discussion was great after dinner. Tonight's dinner should be that much better with more forumites and hopefully some RIC staff joining us.

This coming from a guy who has Lefty as part of his nickname. LOL

Seriously, thanks for the report, Darren!

Cool. I'm hitting the road in about an hour, check-in's at 3 I believe.

Looking forward to meeting some nice folks and many better musicians than myself.

Hey hey...My flight got cancelled but somehow I ended up here earlier than expected. I'm checked in and just hanging out in my room. I've been looking for faces I've seen on the forum....but haven't recognized anyone yet. John, looks like I'm your neighbor in 227.
