Barry's Autumn TurtleGlow

Post by lowendbob »

Since I have become Barry's personal image resize technician, he asked that I post this for him. Personally I think the tort guard would look great on maple glow. What do you think?

Yeah! I believe the AutumnGlo and probably the WalnutGlo would be the two it would look best on - possibly a Monty? MapleGlo - not sure, it might look too busy. Anyone good with Photoshop?

Not that good, but I do have a photo of tortoise shell on maple. I think that as long as the particular hunk of maple can hold up it's own end of the cosmetic package, it works and has kind of a neat, country/western flavor (or maybe saddle-shoes?). With a less figured piece of wood, the guard would probably tend to overpower the light-colored top.

I always thought that with the older basses with the yellowed binding it would be nice to have a cream/yellowed pickguard and TRC.

Very nice autumnGlo though
