I know that this might read dumb but; Will that color
be an option later?I admit to skimming through the thread and missing a possible answer however I really had a nice idea and would like the option.

No word on that Bill. They are teasing about COY for 2007, but who knows.

Thanks Greg.I decided to buy a 4003 later this year when things slow down a bit in the kitchen so I can play a little more.I was thinking about some color options. The 75th color really hit me.I like it.

Evidently there were some COY teasers on display but I didn't catch them on the tour. Perhaps someone who took pics could post the "evidence".

The anniversary color would look real nice with standard trim.

I love it - it's my fav colour of all time. A few other features would have been nice - but oh well.

I'm on a list, where on the list, don't know = but I've got my fingers crossed - which makes it real difficult to play this weekend!

I had to look REALLY close to see any of the cherry-ness or metallic-ness. Oddly enough though, i could see the walnut wings from the top of the headstock!

Ben,

The DUMPSTER BASS, is there a chance of producing a bass like that?

It is beautiful. I've seen many comments on this board that are in agreement, we LOVE IT!

I think that the TRC look strange. I like them with raised letters. The colour looks very nice touch. But what do I know.......Had hoped for something more amazing for the 75´aneversity.
