Great pics, guys & gals. And while i may still be a bit sad about not being able to come, looking at the pics & seeing that you all had great time & good fun there fills my heart with joy.

Hey Ed - I actually bought a MWP autographed poster, but somehow, the Museum didn't give it to me! Instead, I got stuck with an autograph from this big bloke named Squire or something.

All those pictures make me wish I was there! One thing that's great about the pictures is that I can now put faces to the names! Looking at Kenny Howes pictures makes me think that the show was boring because he's yawning on almost everyone of them... or is he??? Image

Putting both faces and personalities to names would have been the greatest source of enjoyment for me Dan. Having those at the event take time to comment and post photos was a very big deal for those of us who couldn't be there.

If my memory serves me right, someone last night (actually earlier this morning) did ask for and receive John Hall's autograph.

I remember when I was younger, back in the mid 80's, I wrote to RIC requesting a catalog. I got a thank you letter with the catalogs which looks like was signed by JH. It didn't look like one of those stamped sigs..

Dang it, I wrote down my Yahoo RIC photo ID and password, to be able to post photos, and typically for me, lost it.

I have a copy of The Rickenbacker Book signed by John and several others who visited the factory with me in 1998. I remember John looking askance at me when I asked for his signature. I was surprised that HE was surprised- it was a fitting addition to a great memnto (John Williams wrote in the book that I should have changed the title to "The Book of RICs I've Played!".

I hope you all had a great time at the Anniversary. Sorry I missed it, especially since the Yankees were also in town!
