New Casino and Ric 360/12 FG!

I always disassembly my Tun-o-matic bridges and flip them around so that the bridge adjustment screws point away from the pick-up. I've seen lots of older Gibsons and Epiphones built this way, but for some reason they now ship out reversed. I like the easier access for my screwdriver. I haven't done it yet to my Elitist, because I haven't changed the strings yet.
Geoff: I have plastic saddles on my Casino which I have put on and taken off on a number of occasions. It definitely makes the sound somewhat more mellow.

Good point Randy! I noticed the backwards intonation screws and was going to reverse the bridge at the next string change. How can it be easier with the screws facing the pickups??
Peter:
How hard is that plastic? Do the wound strings make an impression or is it as hard as... say... Tusq or Micarta?

Double Congratulations, Doug! Two beautiful instruments. I recently picked up a Revolution Casino, but I have had a Dk Cherry Epi Korean Casino for a while now. These are magical guitars. I've seen the Epi sunburst up close at Levin's, and it is a gorgeous finish.
The 360 also looks great--I was just checking this guitar out in the Beatles Gear book last night...
