Unbelievably our weather today is a bit drizzly. We have not been blessed with much precipitation since last winter. It makes for a nice change from the hot weather that we have had for a very long stretch.

Aitch my wife and I are looking forward to your visit very much. I am sure that today will be a bit of a sad day as you say goodbye to our friend the Curmudge. It will brighten up though on all fronts before and after you arrive. We are heading for 30C weather on Friday and I have a pile of funny stories to tell you in between having a brew (or two), making music, running around the lake on jet skis, riding up the mountain passes on atv's, as well as four wheeling and fishing etc etc.

So look out British Columbia, Aitch will be arriving very soon.

I am just warming up the dog team to go and get him from the aerodrome. Sometimes if there is only one passenger on the flight they make them parachute down. Saves on gas you know?

Flaps up, wheels down, tables locked in and seats in the upright position....... clunk!

I'm here!! And what a picturesque place it is. I woke up to a postcard scene across the lake..... stunning!!

Hey Brian! I know it's only 9:45am, but where did you say the beer was again? Image

Well, Lindsay, I saw plenty of that sort of 'flatness' on the trip from SF to LA and back, so it isn't new to me. 'Harris' comes to mind....... Image

Reminds me of an old song - sorry for a bad translation:
"The sky is blue over Canada,
The rains are slanting in the birches,
A little bit like Russia,
But not Russia anyway..."
(sorry - just an association)
