Maybe we should turn these confluence thingies into an organization with chapters, regular "meetings" and everything!!!

Paul B. - I think we exposed our fogie hood with the John Denver refs!!!

I wasn't there, but along the JD sentiment there is also.....

"Friends, I will remember you, think of you, pray for you.
And when another day is through, I'll still remember you."
"Freedom of expression is important, but I have learned that people want to know how much you care before they care how much you know."
The only time a bass player gets noticed is when he stops playing.

I'm still reflecting on this past weekend, and am realizing that there probably aren't enough words to express all of the emotions and impressions.....

I'ts been a tremendous confluence, and an absolute joy meeting so many Forumites and friends!

It was a real pleasure meeting all of you....and great to know the faces behind the screen names!

Thank you Joey, for taking care of my Purpleburst Rickenbaby....

Thank you Darren, for your encouragement....

Thank you Gary, for letting me play your SH--I still can't stop smiling whenever I think about that awesome guitar!

Thank you John Koelling for your kind words and your prayers--they mean the world to me....

Thank you Paul and Dorothy Boyer, for possibly saving my marriage.... (LOL!) Image

Thank you Paul, Dalia, and Juliana Wilczynski for being the friends you are! Image

Thank you Aitch, for sharing your cigars and a few beers with my husband!

Thank you Alicia, for being a great Rickensister! Ric chicks rock, and you are the living proof! Image

And thank you Steve Wood and John Allgaier, for being the first Forumites to welcome us at the Doubletree; it was a pleasure to spend the afternoon hanging out with you guys!

I suppose this list could go on forever....thank you to everyone I have had the pleasure of meeting!

I really think we should have a yearly national confluence. It would give everyone a chance to make one and meet more forumites than would happen at a regional one.

But if Graham, Darren, Aitch et al show up, wouldn't it be an "inter"-national confluence?

Oh, Eric....don't even get my hopes up!!!....it'll be awhile. Gotta start saving. Image I know what I have my eye on but I don't think I'll be picky when it comes to getting my first RIC and, in fact, may even buy second hand...dunno...will have to wait and see.

I like your thinking, Jason! But I'd rather see the folks who have been into RICS alot longer than me have one of those, since there's only a limited amount of them. Cool that it's the same color as my hair though! Image
