Where to buy a 0047 cap?

Post by henry5 »

Ok, I seem to have misplaced the cap that I keep putting in/taking out of my CS...(doh!)

Went out to try and buy another one today; no one in my area has any, and I was told I'd only find them online. Can anybody advise the best place online to get the correct type? I've had a quick look and there are thousands of the things, all different! (Heck, you'd think they were for something other than Rick basses! Image )

Yup, I'm surprised I haven't been inundated with offers! Image Well there's nothing like flying in the face of fashion...

Seriously, thanks guys, I'll check 'em out. I tried ordering from the Rick website last night but looks like they're only set up for the US and Canada. I suppose the other option would be to get the new tone pot.

I just bypassed the cap on my C64 and I really like the sound better without the cap than with it. The horseshoe is a lot fuller sounding to me now without the cap, and is much closer in tone to my V63 which I like. But that's just me.
I recently went back to playing a Rickenbacker bass. Its like meeting an old friend again
