Unfortunately, that's me at about age 14, so there's a vast discrepancy of age here. Really didn't understand the point of the post either.

Well, maybe we can just consider the point as; We All had more hair at 14, currently, John and I have, uh, less?Or, if I dare being a tad risque, as someone I used to work with joked, "It's not that you're getting less hair, but you're getting more head..."Ooooh....

This thread has been around a while, so I can't remember if I posted an update or not.

Following Mark Arnquist's suggestion, I used a power drill to very slightly enlarge the screwholes in the pickups, and voila! problem solved.
