Add a 4003 for me....

Pretty good tally. Has anybody looked to see how many other at the official Ric forum may have gotten any? Between the two, we should cover alot of them.

14. One more and one-fourth of the North American total has been accounted for.

I understand, and hope, that Ken S has got one. Sadly it hasn't worked out for me.

Phil, not a clue... To be honest I've lost a bit of interest in trying to get a bass. I have done all that I can think of doing to get one. I have had some kind efforts from US forum members to help me out. I have spoken to the MD of Rosetti. I have contacted my local RIC dealership.

That's about it for me I think. I think it's a shame that a RIC owner, player and fan for the past 32 years can't get a special bass, when I have been trying to sort one from about six weeks ago. What will be will be .....

Bob, I'm sorry to hear you haven't managed to get one. I hope that a miracle occurs and one turns up for you somewhere down the line.

Trouble is finding a dealer who is prepared to pester until the UK allocation comes through. I've tried a few. Even the odd ones that call back don't seem to be bothered to make the effortto get a sale. More rigour needed on the customer service front in UK guitar shops, I think!

I am truly sorry to hear that the UK RIC lovers seem to be getting the shaft. Image
