The Official 75th 4003DCM Forum Owner Thread
Moderators: rickenbrother, ajish4
I started taking a tally yesterday of members from this forum, and the RIC forum.
So far almost 1/3 of the "Order of the 75th" have been accounted for.
23 to be exact, and I am happy to be part of this group.
I really hope we can add some of the UK members to this list.

I must be thinking about getting this too much.
I had a dream last night that I was at my sister's house in New York, and she handed me a handwritten note from Chris Squire, apologizing because a part for the 75th 4003 was not available, and it would not be delivered until sometime between 2008 & 2011. I went to the Ric site and sure enough there was a similar news release there.
Pretty funny.

Hey Greg,
Talking about dreaming....how about this one?
I wonder if the Hall's might consider producing a Special FORUM MEMBERS LIMITED EDITION run?
Ah, I'm glad at least dreams are free.

Tony,
I think the Forum member only bass has been kicked around before. In fact I think the model that was decided on would be a 4001V68. I think Jeffrey Scott would know more about that.
Bob, is that just the bass list? I will let you know Tuesday if i made the list.

I thought that is what I remembered Ted. I remember speaking to Jeffrey on the telephone about it a while back. With my assault on the C Series just about complete, I need something else to look forward to.

I thought it was Jeff Rath that was instrumental in the forum bass idea. Personally, I'd love a 4004L with the neck dimensions of my '67 4005WB and the toaster pickups positioned at the neck and in the position of the 4004Cii with the bridge pickup closer to the bridge, inline with the selector switch, which of course would really be a volume control along with the other volume control and tone control. The bass would be Jetglo with chrome Hipshot hardware, have a vintage plexi TRC and there would be a checker binding strip inlaid into the circumference of the body, all along the edge, and FWCP inlays in the ebony fingerboard with black binding on the neck.
This bass would make a very nice compliment to Brian's BTB bass.

Umm..Ted, I think she was going to surprise me for me next birthday, and you just blew it...
