I just hope that SA doesn't realize thay could have charged full price for these and end up screwing their customers, that's all. I would hate to see that happen.

Jeff, I don't know how it works in the States, but over here a verbal contract was made, a deposit paid against that contract price and the bass was ordered. A written receipt of the deposit and full contract price will be in the post to me soon.

I guess if you were offered a verbal price then the dealer must/should honour that price. In the UK we would think it was a poor show if that was not the case. Also I would have thought it was against UK trading law.

Verbal agreements don't seem to hold too much weight over here these days, in this very litigious society. I have been victim to the "oops, we quoted you the wrong price" scenario, where orders were cancelled. I hope this doesn't happen to those who ordered from SA.

I really like the change in the TRC. One more change I think would be good would be a toaster. How about it JH?

Posted by John Hall on the RIC Forum. "All instruments will ship in their standard cases, i.e. only the 660 will be a vintage one. The special logo and color is more than enough to demark these as something special, so there's no certificate needed."

Jeff, I hear you. I've got the old "oops" story several times. They will offer a full refund if you are unhappy with the "new" price. That's usually a poor option after a long wait for an instrument.

I'm getting a funny "feeling" about my 75th order.

Grrrrrrrrr!
I'm just happy to be here.

I believe there is at least one person on the list who has more than one.

I guess he's got # 1, so I suppose that counts.
