Unbelievable. Or should I say "pathetic"? Plus, that faker looks even more despicable than most.
A Rickenbacker bass is much like the Jaguar E car - perennially ultra-fashionable.

You are bidding on a vintage Ibanez Bass guitar made in January of 1976. This is one of the earliest reproductions of this model. The serial number is A760495 / Made in Japan. I have included a picture of the original Ibanez catalog from 1976.

This bass is a beautiful sunburst color throughout the guitar including the neck and the headstock. It plays great and looks awesome. It has a great vintage vibe to it, especially with the ivory colored binding around the body of the guitar.

This Ibanez bass is in great condition. It only has minor playing scuffs and dings. Nothing major.

The bass is missing two tuning ferrels (which doesn't affect play), the original finger rest for thumb playing, and the original pick-up cover that usually acompanies these guitars on the bridge pickup. (see original catalog photo)

Everything else on this guitar is original and accounted for.

I am selling this bass because I really need the money. I love this bass though, so I am not going to move on the price. If I don't get this price I cannot sell the bass.

Email me any questions at [email protected]. This bass will not last long and you will not be disappointed. It is bound to be a collector's item.

Price: $900.00 or may look for trades for something of same quality.

It's not even one of the better Ibanez copies. It would be even funnier if it weren't even really an Ibanez and the seller tries to pass it off as one!

Hack *gag*

You can get a new Ric for a similar price.

Oh, wait.

I did.

"This bass will not last long..."

Probably not even halfway through the second set...

Actually, I'm tempted to start a collection of all the different Rick rip-off basses. Ibanez, Greco... there must be others out there, too. It would definitely be a collection of dubious distinction, and you could have your Rick buddies over and take turns playing them blindfolded to see just how well one can tell the real from the rip-off.

An amusing idea and an egregious waste of one's time and money, Mark.

Perfect in its silliness.

BTW, remind me to tell you my octopus-and-bagpipe joke sometime...

Mark, you lost your bagpipe. No wonder you feel angst!
