Michael Kelly 5 string FL acoustic.

Post by charlyg »

I went into Sam Ash today and tried out the 5 string fretless. I liked it a lot. They only had a black one and I would prefer the natural. It is quilted and has the vine on the fretboard. I can also save about 50 to a hundred dollars getting it online.

I will be selling my Epiphone Les Paul Standard Flame Maple Cherry finish, with a Bigsby and Seymnour Duncan pickups, with an authentic Gibson hardshell case. In mint condition! Probably put it on ebay for 300-350.

Charly, was it the the Michael Kelly Dragonfly model? Those look nice. I haven't had the chance to try one yet.
JETGLO should officially be renamed JETGLO ROCKS! :-)

Yes it was. I really liked it. I didn't plug in though. They are using a D'Addario coated string and my fingers were black after playing for a few minutes. I also like the fact they are using a Fishman set up. Very cool! I did not like the fretted versions as it was too easy to get that fret rattle I hate so much! And, here is something cool. They have fret dots where the frets would be, not in between!!!!! Yippeeee!

The best part is, when I get it, I can get the headstock done on my 4-2-5!

I was hoping to find someone with an opinion besides me!
