OMG!!!!! I'm feeling giddy....

Post by melibreits »

My amazing husband has done it again....

In addition to somehow tracking down one of each Anniversary model, he has just ordered me a model 1996 from Dave's guitars in LaCrosse WI....they had the guitar in stock, and it will be arriving here in a few days--happy early birthday to me!!!! Image

After the 75th shindig, I think my husband has a renewed interest in supplying my peculiar habit.... at a small cost to me, of course... ;)

Melissa, you'll like the 1996..I'm really having a blast with mine, it's hard to put it down once I start playing it. I saw pics of the two that Dave got in, they are really sweet-looking. I'd guess that your 1996 and mine will have been made from the same batch, And like I told Eric---mine is just super, yours should be no different. Congrats!

Umm, Melissa, care to sell any ? At this point, you have enough Ric's to conduct a statistical study of the tone variation from model to model, and year to year.

Melissa: You can always say that the 1996 was a 75th Anniversary present.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

It kind of is, isn't it, Peter? For all the guitars of the last couple of days, I'm going to be running out of holidays to celebrate pretty soon....

Hmmmm.... the next one on my calendar is Sept. 19, "Talk Like a Pirate Day!" Arrrrrrrrgh! I guess my first mate got me a fine guitarrrrrgh! Image

I'm overwhelmed.

Yes, Brian, I think my husband is pretty special, too! Image
