SC "Mystery" Confluence by the lake

Post by loverickbass »

You find RICs in the strangest places. Even in the back woods of SC. Sunday I met Darren Trott and John Williams by the banks of Lake Murray in SC. We had a wonderful time talking all things RIC related. Darren and I took this time to trade guitars. He gets my fireglo comstock and I got his '73 4001. John got to watch and provide the beer. Image Here are a few pics of the event. Interesting situation, we have four RIC acoustics between the three of us! Truly we are blessed. Enjoyed the time together fellas!

Cool pix. Nice 4001. Someday, I'll get one o' them wavy-Grovered, crushed-pearl, checker-bound, Fireglo skunk-stripers!

Oh no...photographs with me in shorts! My reputation will be ruined! Image

It was absolutely fabulous to spend some time with Cole and his lovely wife, who took a two hour drive to meet up with us to exchange guitars.

Cole, you'll be pleased to know that in this space of the last 48 hours the Comstock has been responsible for two new songs already. I love it!

Jwilli, thanks again for your generous hospitality. We had a great time with you and your extended family. Image
