Well I missed out on mine. The dealer kept trying to get through only to be delayed and then it was too late.

At least I still have my '73 4001, 4001v63, 4001C64, 4003s5 and 4001CS to enjoy.
If you think all is going well, you've obviously overlooked something.

My guy discounted at the standard rate. He said he knew that they'd be going for more, but he just wanted to bring in more business and treat his customers fairly. He didn't know about these until I called him, and only ordered the one for me so I don't think he got any other calls.

I have the price he gave me in writing (on my deposit agreement), and put down a good deposit, so hopefully he won't try to get out of it.

I know that at least one other guy got a similar discount here too.

Scott Jehlik,

Old Boise Guitar huh? Nice work. John is a great guy. I've done a lot of stuff with John and many years ago when My son was looking for his first guitar John treated him like a man and didn't shine him on.

I have a 4003, 360 and a 330 on order. He still has a 660 available. Anyone interested can reach John at 208-344-7600. Tell him I sent you.

He seems like a great guy. You must be the 'local' guy he mentioned selling the other bass to. Congrats on getting it. You beat me to the post. I was going to mention he still had guitars, but now I guess it's just one. ;)

Oh. BTW, have you tried those URB's that he's got? He was stringing one up when I was talking to them.

Scott. I live in Idaho and visit John as often as I can. He's a good guitar guy. He love sguitars and knows a ton about them. I've been in Idaho about 12 years and before all the internet stuff came along he was the only RIC guy available. He's still the only dealer in a 3 state radius. It's been awhile since I purchased anything from him, so I am making up for lost time. Anyway, you won't go wrong with John.

Just checking:

Scott Jehlik, you're not S4001 on the RIC forum are you? If so, I think you may be counted twice on the list.

Did anyone order from Mike Parks?

Just curious as I did email him and he said he would let lucky folks know this week if he could fill the order.
