Peter has undertaken to email me as soon as his parcel arrives.

Joey, do you have the photograph of Jason and I? If so, can you email it to me please? Cheers Image

Nothing has surfaced yet Darren. The latest UPS update has the package in Lachine, Quebec. It will travel to Moncton, N.B. tomorrow with delivery in Fredericton, on Thursday of this week. I am away part of that day, but I will email you when it has arrived.

I don't know if this had ever been discussed, but Peter may be on the hook for UPS brokerage fees and federal/provincial taxes when it arrives. Still, I'd love to be there when the parcel arrives!

Steve: I'm a Canadian. We pay taxes to cross the street. Not to worry, the most taxing thing about this parcel is the "waitin' and wonderin'." The title of my next country tune perhaps?

Steve, If I recall correctly it the parcel was marked as a gift, because that's exactly what it is. Image

UPS in California didn't mention any brokerage fees....let's hope there's no additional charges.

Let's hope Peter doesn't have to cross a street to get to the parcel!

Hey Darren - I've often tried the "gift" trick when bringing stuff into Canada, but it rarely works especially when UPS is involved. If there are any charges it will based on the "declared value" on the UPS documentation.
C'mon Peter - aren't you enjoying the 1% reduction in the GST? Regardless of any charges it may arrive with, I think you're going to enjoy it. Image

I just checked my code books and it sounds like you might have been misinformed.
