I'm wondering if our European friends on the continent might have better luck contacting a dealer or distributor in Germany. Just a thought.

The allocation was based upon sales over the last two years. As such, all of those countries will have to share one of each type.

A very fair method of allocation Mr Hall.

Great job on the whole affair. Please continue your plan, as you have brought a lot of great new features for us these last couple of years.

The speculation and baiting was very fun, I hope we don't miss out on that the next time you have something special in store for us.

I thought you were sorted Lars?

Is there anybody from the UK who is still looking?

I have one in order Jon, but the distributor could not confirm yet, as they didn't know what they'll get. I know more about this model than they do... John Hall said: One of each model to "those countries". I don't know if he means Scandinavia (Luthman serves Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland) or Europe ex. Rosetti.
BTW In Rickenbackers website there is a funny little error:
In the list of international distributers Netherlands seem to have TWO distributers!
They have good ole Rosetti, AND ABmusic as they are included in Benelux (BElgium NEtherlands LUXemburg).:-)
I know Europe is a long way from SoCal :-), so I'm not sure what to make of John's statement...
I'll wait and see, and hope for the best...

Yes, I wasn't sure exactly what that meant.

In the UK, I found Rosetti pretty helpful. They let me know when to get the order in with a dealer. I chose a dealer very near to me - luckily he was really on the ball.

Anyway, I hope one makes it to Norway. When will you know?

Rosetti really came through for me too Jon. In the past I have felt mixed feelings about their customer care, but they have totally made up for that over the past week. Rosetti Rules...!
