I'll second that - very eclectic group but down-to-earth and just real nice folks. Never thought I'd be in that big a group and not a phony in the bunch. Says a lot, people.

I had a picture taken with him too. What a cool guy. He did not play the star, was not aloof, no attitude. He was genuine and completely approachable. Mike Mills too. It was enough for me just to be there with them. I did not even ask for an autograph. Of course I may regret that later.

Great pics. I really liked how all of these guys/gals (the guys from Minus Five/REM, the Smithereens, Chris Squire, Marty Wilson-Piper and the Mood Maidens, Lemmy etc.) were just milling about, watching the show, getting a drink at the bar, and having a good time.

Tortelvis from Dread Zeppelin was also there but he was tough to spot as he wasn't in costume. I wouldn't have known until Dane Wilder pointed him out. Dane is related to him somehow.

For me it was being asked to play at the Hotel Party... Darren just kicks *** on drums and makes anyone he backs up sound better. All who played and backed me up were awesome. I've been away for several weeks and I want to thank everyone for being there and having a great time. Darren, I may come down your way next year and hopefully hang out with you and your mates.
What you say about that?

Hi Dale. It was great talking with you at the hotel! I've been to see David since I got back from California, told him about our conversation. He's got all the parts for Betsy laid out..I think she might go back together soon..
