I find it interesting that several of you who are outraged at someone trying to sell an LK for a high price seemed to be on the other side of the fence when someone else was trying to sell a 360/12C63 for a high price.

Tony, great looking LK!

Did you just find her?

What # is she?

Very nice!
I'm just happy to be here.

Thanks for the compliment - I picked her (or is it him - it is a Lemmy, after all) back in 2001. It was sitting in the window at Sam Ash in NYC - I saw it, went home, thought about it, and went back in the next day to purchase it.

It's an early one - #9, and it has the older PUP placement. It also came with a black raised TRC, which Rickenbacker was happy to swap with the gold plexi in the picture. I always felt a little guilty just walking in off the street and picking it up, while many forumites had to wait years for theirs to be made.

Anyway, I just figured out how to post pics here, so that's why you're seeing it now...

Really nice wood, and nice deep carvings. Quite a find, no?

Sorry. I'm not gloating. I just thought if anyone would understand, it'd be you folks...

P.S. I'm told UPS is delivering another bundle of joy tomorrow. I feel like a kid on Christmas Eve.
