Article for magazines

I wonder if someone with journalistic talent should write up an article on the celebration and submit it to the various bass/guitar mags. I'm sure everyone would allow any picture worthy of inclusion to be included, yada-yada. It should be shown to the world as an example of how things can work between consumers and manufacturers. I think RIC deserves some bragging rights!

I know Bob Krizek was doing some interviews on pop culture and Rickenbackers for NPR at the Confluence.... It will be interesting to see what he has to say when he gets all of his info compiled.

There was a fellow from Germany at the Confluence - I can't remember his name - who asked me a number of questions; IIRC, it was for an article in a German magazine (again, I don't remmeber the name). Aber, wo kanst man eine deutsche Zeitschrift hier kaufen?

I have a friend who writes album and concert reviews for a SoCal magazine and also has a spot to do the same on a SoCal radio station. Unfortunately he could not make it to the HOB show, but I will show him the video that I have soon. I know he will dig it.

I'm using my interviews and experiences at the confluence for two reasons. First, I'm writing a couple of academic articles that probably not many people will ever read. Second, I'm piecing together some of the interviews and trying to create something for NPR. I thought I would submit it to "All Things Considered."

But I'd be happy to take a shot at writing something for a magazine if anyone has any suggestions about which magazine. John, it would be in English though.

Any of the bass or guitar mags. Guitar Player, Bass Player, Bass Guitar, etc.
