Congrats. Tough decision will be which one gets more board time...

Just checked the tracking number, and not only is the Purpleburst coming home today, the 1996 is too! Talk about speedy delivery.... I still can't believe this!

Hey Meli, you think Mark would wanna marry me too? ;)

This is incredible! Congrats and enjoy the guitars. Glad you finally got that 600-series as well!

John, there's no need for you to marry Mark; just have Melissa and Mark adopt you. Image

Congratulations Melissa.

You must be in a total spin, Melibee! Congratulations on the 1996....... I'm looking forward to seeing it.

Maybe Marc is buttering you up so he gets some 'boys' time when I'm there! Image

Both of my guitars arrived in perfect condition....

I am amazed at how.... perfect the model 1996 is. I'm a little bit in awe, as it is the Ric I have dreamed of from the first time I saw pictures of one. And it is the first brand new, non-eBay Ric I have ever received.... The finish is ALMOST as mirror-like as as one of Paul W.'s refins!

The first whole song I played on it was "All My Loving," which has been running through my brain since the Confluence weekend....what a lovely souvenir (sort of) from a wonderful time! I am delighted....ummm, that's a HUGE understatement! More later, maybe with pics....

I trust it was dedicated to that hubby of yours.

Indeed.... to that guy who has had All My Loving for over 16 years now! Image

Mmmmmmm....that guitar plays, sounds, and looks like a dream. It's cool that we got pictures of some of these being painted and assembled at the factory.

Thanks, everyone!

Just got back from worship team practice--took the new guitar, of course.... And I am so glad I did! It was the perfect sound for the brand new song that we worked on for Sunday morning.... Perfect jangly Ric-rhythm, and it just felt soooo good to play! What a sweet, sweet little guitar! Image
