What flavor of Pod we talking about here? I had one of the early ones and it would lose its mind every once in a while. Reducing it to the role of expensive in line tuner... Turned out to be something to do with vibrations - it seemed to be OK after I reset to the factory specs....

Me at the jam. Thanks to Gary Clauson, I've got proof that I was actually there. Image

Ted - I like the look of the dueling turquoise guitars. What models are they and who are the lads playing them?

For anyone else who may read this, it would be interesting to see the names of all the players in the photos to inform the unlucky sods like me who couldn't make the bash and didn't get to meet everybody.

Scott, at the time you were up there with the two turquoise guitars, I was wondering why you didn't borrow the turquoise bass that was in the room. That would have been a cool pic to shoot.

To be honest, I didn't think of it. There's a couple basses I really would have liked to try. At least I got the 8-string CS in. That really was a FUN bass and easy to play.

Let's see (all left to right):

Scott's pic is Dale Fortune, not sure, and Scott - drummer was with Kenny IIRC.

Ted's Pic has a guy from Texas (sorry, I forgot your name), Darren "Jerry" Trott on skins, Scott, and Jason Mendelson.

Joey's pic is Darren "Stevie Ray" Trott, that same drummer, and Scott. A real RickResource power trio!

Cool beans - thanks, John.

Scott - I just now noticed that your 4001S FG has two pickups, but only two knobs as well. What's the story there?

It's a 68 4000. When I got it, someone had routed a big Guild pickup in it and ran it vol/ toggle/. When I put the toaster in it, I kept the configuration because I had become used to it.

Cole, that's Jason Mendelson's "J-Dog Signature Rick". I think he's having one of those signature pickguards made for it!

He added gold guards, TRC, oven knobs, toasters, and Rick-o-Sound.

I had a turq 370/12VP a couple years ago. I sold it to one of us...don't remember who. I sure wish I had it back!

Whoa! That must have been quite the looker! I was real close to getting a Turquoise 360 VP/VB last year on eBay. Turq + lots of chrome = beautiful!
