Thanks for noticing, Glenn, Glad you like the guitar too (hee hee).
I received a call from Chris at Pick of the Ricks a few days before the anniversary event, saying the 1996 was on its way. So, I don't think anybody saw mine on the tour. I'll open it up later and see if any of you Forumites signed the inside, just to be sure...
BTW - my hat's off to Chris at Pick of the Ricks for an excellent transaction. Another satisfied customer!

Here is a pic of mine(finally). There were two from POTR, this is the other one...most of this batch has had pretty tame woodgrain IMO. Everyone of them a winner!

Looks, great Lefty. Yours looks nearly identical to mine. As does yours, Tony. I'll bet the serial numbers are all pretty close. email me if you want to compare.

Mine arrived today in beautiful shape...Gary/Northcoast as usual had her double-boxed all safe and sound. He does an initial set-up, so she came out of the case ready to go--I just tweaked the tuning a bit, and then off to the races. Initial impressions...
The finish is more orange in tinge than the famous NAMM photo--which seemed to me to be more "brownish" tinged. She does look different in different light--which might account for the variance in appearance from different photos of the guitar.
The fade to amber is very nicely done, with little touches on the outer edges of the upper and lower bouts...
I knew this from the specs on the Ric site, but it was still surprising for me to experience--she feels beefier and is definitely heavier than the 325c58--with the thinner body, finished fretboard, etc., she "looks" more delicate than the thicker 325.
Trem assembly appears pretty solid--not Bigsby Beefy, but looks like a reliable unit. Gary's set-up felt very good to me, so I haven't spent any time with the bridge...
She sounds great with the stock Ric strings (which I think are listed as 12s)--I may put a set of flats on her. Already have my Vox Python strap hooked up--first chords I played were "Ticket To Ride"
Bottom line--very pleased--all the fit/finish/refinement of the 350 I had with the "Lennon" short scale and lineage. Thanks Ric!!
I'll try to get some pix up tonight...

"Let me take you down...'cause I'm going to...."
Here's a link to some pix...I was talking to my bud today about how it's hard to photo these guitars--at least for someone with my photo skills. The pics will look more harsh than the finish actually is--
Also, there's one pic of her with her two sisters--including the MG 325 Todd alerted me to!
