75th Anniversary 660 future owners

I got 20% off on my 360 from a dealer in my area that I never shopped at before. He told me he didn't care that they were anniversay models, he knew their value and would still discount them. Very cool guy in my book. My regular dealer wanted 500 above MSRP on every model. Outside of RICs I have spent 5k each year with him for the last 3 years. I beat him down to MSRP on a 4003 and a 330 but that is the best he'd do. After these are delivered, I will not longer shop there. I do believe the 660 will easier to obtain as I know a couple of dealers that still have not sold them. I'm still thinking of getting one.

Yeah, I wanted the 660 too. In a bad way. And I really love how the AFG looked on the 660 in the factory too. So I was torn. In fact, I like the cherry metallic better than all the other opaque colors. I bet it'll look amazing on the 330 and 360. But I already have those and I really want a 660.
Plus, I figured, that RIC probably doesn't make much more than 75 660s in a COY anyway (if even that - I doubt I've seen that many in BB come out), so rareness might be about the same. The big difference in product would be the 75th on the pickguard.
The difference to me was my local dealer where I've bought most of my RICs gave me over 35% off on the AFG but wanted full retail on the 75th. That ended up being a guitar for about $1415 (including tax) versus about $2705 (including tax). So the choice ended up being easier than I had thought since I loved both colors.
However, if there are some out there that are getting it at about $2167 (inc tax)... that probably would have been an easier sell on the wife.

I believe I know where there is one left. BELOW MSRP! The 330 as of last night was still available too! BELOW MSRP as well.

...the Dave's Guitar site says that they have one each of the 660, 330, and 360 Anniversary editions on order, not yet spoken for.

Rumbush. They are indeed spoken for. I tried to order them but no luck.

Well, I actually have good news. Laun emailed this morning saying he had a cancelled order and I reserved his 660... I think. I haven't heard back from him to confirm. I am going to call him after my next client appointment.

OK. It's confirmed with the deposit already made. I'm pretty stoked. I went from not being sure I would get any of the 75th Anniversary Instruments to having all 4 on order.
