Geeeez.....sounds like you're having a great time, Darren!
And you're on the second set of strings on the Comstock already???? I can understand why.... I love my Comstock too!
Well, I'd better get to work--I will be cheerfully photographing coins until the big brown truck arrives this afternoon!

Sorry I got sick on Friday. I was looking forward to that day for over a month. I got some kind of stomach virus and fever that started coming on as we were over at the Gibson store. By the time you called later in the afternoon, I was flat on back, in bed. I even had to cancel my trip back home (Vermont) the next day to visit my Mom & Dad; I rescheduled for this Friday. My family thoroughly enjoyed meeting you and your Dad and Dave Lloyd and his wife. I was hoping we could could have plugged in your new, beautiful Capri into my AC30, that would have been fantastic. All things work for the best, though, and our best wishes to you as you enjoy your US trip, great people and guitars.

I've just spent two fabulous days with Dave and Lisa Pascoe in Bucks County, near Philadelphia.
As you can see, my idiot grin has not diminished at all over the past three weeks!
Dave and I packed many activities into the short space of time we had together. We had breakfast at a classic 50s style diner; dinner at a great Italian restaurant; jammed with Dave's drummer on Hendrix and SRV songs (yes we played Rickenbackers); toured every guitar shop within a 100 mile radius; had the world's best Philly cheese-steak at Steve's; enjoyed another dinner with close friends at a very classy local restaurant and consumed an inapproriate amount of red wine.
The tour of a lifetime is now drawing to a close. I'm now in Lancaster, Pennsylvania wondering how I will convince the airline not to charge me excess baggage when I depart JFK on Monday.

If you see this man, approach him with extreme caution, as he is known to decimate wine collections.
Yes, there are "Be on the lookout for this man" posters of Darren hung in the all the lobbies of the Double Tree Hotel Chain.
Glad you are having fun, Darren!
JETGLO should officially be renamed JETGLO ROCKS!
Safe trip home, Darren..... you've obviously had a wow of a time and kept up all the appropriate Aussie traditions. You can fill me in on the inappropriate ones when I get home, yes??
Our first get-together back home could be a bit hilarious too!
Cheers,
H
