I just read (Nov. 06 Vintage Guitar magazine) that Tom Petty bought the 4005/6 MG from Gil Southworth. Pretty cool......

I had a line on that one before it went on Ebay and before Southworth had it. I was playing hardball, trying to get it for $4500.00 from the original owner.

I had one- a '67 4005/6 fireglo I sold about eight years ago. I hate to think what I COULD have got for it. Don't miss it- just wish I'd done better selling it!
