Forum CD - Where, When and How much $$

Post by 8mileshigher »

Greetings -- there are so many messages out there on the Forum CD project, that it is a little hard to follow everything.

For those of us who are interested in purchasing one of these Forum CDs, are you collecting names and addresses, and how much money will it cost ? What is the expected arrival date for distribution, is it still around Christmas time or when ?

I am certainly interested in getting the Forum CD when it comes out. Cheers Rich F.

Good question Richard. I have received all of the CD's now, but as you've probably noticed, my studio is being refurbished at the moment. I should be ready to start looking at the CD's by the middle of next week. It will take a couple of weeks to sort (there are a LOT of songs. I will then send ideas to both Gary & Peter & take it from there.

I would hope to get them ready for Christmas....that's the plan. No idea on cost yet. If Gary is willing, I might send a load over to him. Then it just be domestic shipping to those in the US.

It would be interesting to get an idea on numbers required, as I haven't a clue how many to produce. If I produce too many, what do I do with the surplus? I would hate to produce too few. It might make sense to get a hundred & price accordingly.

Scott...did you get my reply regarding printing?
'Rickenbacker'...what a name! After all these years, it still thrills me.

Tony, why not start taking a count here? I'd like to buy one for sure.

Good idea, Steve!

I think we will scope out the per CD price of international shipping versus the a-lot-at-a-time price and see which one is more cost-effective, as we would want the cheaper way to ship.
