Yea, and it's got the desirable 25 CPJP!

Very nice.

Just a few ahead of my April 73 FL. Not many of these FL's with the official CB...

Probably very similar to the one in that Macca pic that gets posted every now and then!

I just got off the phone with the seller and the reason he says it may have been refinished on the back and sides is that the finish on the back and sides are satin and the front is gloss. He says it is on consignment from a church. Go figure....
He has no intention of ending the auction early. This one will definitely go high I think.

I've bought stuff from Noisy Neighbor.
Larry is a nice and honest fellow.
If I wanted an FL, I'd have no worries about
dealing with him again.

I was bidding on this bass but I have decided that I will pursue it no longer. I have a high bid of $1500.01. We all know it will go much higher than that. Vince Gallo(nbvbn)bid once and I have been informed that he will most likely snipe it at the last second. Someone get it from the forum. I gracefully bow out...

I have a 79 4001 with a saddle similar to that, I think the tailpiece was put on a little off center and they just compensated when they cut the slots on the saddles, that one looks the same as mine does. It plays and sounds great.

"Vince Gallo(nbvbn)bid once and I have been informed that he will most likely snipe it "

i remember reading an interview a couple years back in which Vincent alluded to his Rickenbacker obsession/collection - it must be pretty incredible by now...
