Um. Uh. Oh. Looks like mr Richman is creating another - um - masterpiece. Well, i know it might not be polite from me, but i need a good laugh in the morning.

Has anyone asked if he's actually sold any of these "masterpieces"?

Not sure, but IIRC, Paul stated Richman hasn't sold anything yet. Given a price of about $6K apiece, it's not surprising, i'm afraid.

The Dragonfly, the Cleopatra, and the Dobro are all intriguing. Right on the edge of non-functional, and walking a narrow line towards EEK!, still on this side, however.

I'll leave those "unusual guitars" to others, it's the "classics" for me.

Sheena: Further down there seems to be an argument going on about how many strings and tuners a few of these guys are seeing in the pictures, etc. I can't tell how heated it is by reading it, but seems kind of funny, from a distance. Good site just to practice with the language - thanks!

You're always welcome, Jack! From what is shown on the site, i especially liked the 11-string acoustic. Image

The "Wangcaster" is the funniest thing I've seen in a long time.

Someone send that to Ed Roman.

I liked the debate about advantages created by additional strings, the part of it when somebody said: "Old guys in Asia play instruments with 2 strings only, and they get hiiigh anyway!"
Wangcaster and the other stuff in comments are new additions, btw. I'm impressed! Image
