I don't think you will have trouble finding Beatles stuff to see... although it's been 12 years since I've been to Liverpool. I don't recall good music stores, except maybe Rushworth's, known for presenting Lennon and Harrison their new J-160E's in '62, but that's all I can remember.

As I understand it, there is a Cavern Club, but it is not the original which had been torn down (up?). It's a replica of the Cavern once played by the fledgling Beatles, just a block or a few doors down from the site of the original.

I was over there a couple of years ago...Lot's of Beatle stuff downtown...Albert dock, the new Cavern...pubs like the Grapes (near the Cavern)Punch and Judy's near the train depot...I didn't see any music stores but my drummer and I followed the Magical Mystery Tour bus from Albert Docks (the tour was sold out) in our car and saw Strawberry Fields, Penny Lane...Mimi's house (Mendips) Pauls' father's apt ect...ps they love the parking boot so if your driving a rental make sure you keep the meter running (cost me $100 if I remember right!!)
Have a great time...dm

Thanks Kris. I´m in Liverpool now writing this. Planning to visit the Beatles museum and Beatles Pub tomorrow.

If one of you Rickfreaks live near Liverpool with a Rick to sell then contact me. The prices in Norway are still sky high

The email I sent Frode had attached a list I've made of as many Beatles sites in London and Liverpool that I could find. Birthplaces, schools, residences, clubs, Apple locations, etc. - All with addresses where appropriate.

I put it together from books and other written sources, along with scouring London and Liverpool for eight weeks in 1999. If anyone else would like a copy of this list, please email me.

Every where has beatles stuff "The beatles ate in this cafe" etc...it becomes boring. Never guitar shopped there though!
Tell me does it feel the same when you've set upon a change but your heart's in the old times?

Just came back from Liverpool. I had a fantastic evening on The Cavern Club Saturday. Lots of nice people there. Cheers to you Jimmy. Seen Beatles 64 times? Amazing.
Also found 3 big guitar shops. No ricks:-(
