That assessment nicely describes the tone of the Ci bass.

yes and the 4004cii sounds different ... the gloss finish and maple veener changes the tone ... more highs and lows ...

More than my 75 4001 is at the moment. Anyone with a 4004 Ci they don't like willing to trade? Image

Tempting...... I want a 70's 4001, but I also want to keep my Ci. Tempting....
