Thank you lads. I had even told myself to refrain from purchasing any of them. Do I possess self control or what?

As for college, the NAVY will pay for my oldest son and my daughter (God Bless her soul) won't take a dime from me. I offered, but she is intent on doing it herself. Just the 8 year old left. Being a financial planner and his mother being a CPA, I think I will be able to hold on to the guitars. As I explained to John Hall, these guitars are my legacy. No old smelly silverware to pass on from me!

Me too - managed to get one of all 4 models in the UK from one dealer. Looks like there is an advantage to being this side of the water for once !!

Hmmmmm........I think you are on to something Mark. JH has mentioned he wished he had sold them all overseas. The colonies are a little unruly these days.

Anyone know if RIC bought a big boat recently?

Congrats Mark, I think the 660 might be the coolest of the bunch.
I'm just happy to be here.

At the risk of offending some, I'd say the 660, with it's checkered binding and full inlays will be the coolest!

360 will be the coolest.....
1) the only 360 with gold guards (660's always have gold guards)
2) the only 75th with rounded edges to catch the light
3) it's not a bass (oh snap!) lol

That's okay Mark, even though the 360 is not a bass, some chicks like purdy git-tars.

That's why I only ordered one 360!

Nah - its the 660 for me every time out of that bunch. Just scored a mint (truly - unplayed NOS, still with sticker on it) Tom Petty this afternoon, to join my Jetgo and Montezuma Brown 660/6's - still looking out for that 660/12 MB though.

Now if there had been a 381 in the lineup, that would have been different. I have a couple of 12 and 6 in MB (seeing a theme here ?) and a Jetglo 12 and they are all a dream to play. However, I wouldn't want to ruin it with the 75LE colour (let's face it, none of us would have chosen it, would we ?).

Would have preferred it if Ric had chosen some specially selected the wood for the 300 guitars and given us a vintage sunburst finish (walnut perhaps), to show of the fantastic craftsmanship which Ric is famous for. That would really have given us something to cherish over the years as the colour mellowed.

How about it for the 100th Anniversary John ?

I think the bass is going to be the coolest, and the badest! It's bigger and meaner than the other guys so it's more intimidating.. It can beat up the 660,330,and 360 in an street fight...

Hey Jeffy, would you say the neck on that anniversary was of the thinner persuasion (if you can recall)?

It was thinner than some but nothing like my 4005WB, now that's thin.
